four week class series meets saturday mornings in healdsburg from 9-11am.
class one / april 29 / all about your camera /
create intentional images with your smart phone, mirrorless, or dslr camera! Learn what the exposure triangle is, the best settings to use, and my favorite shortcuts for getting great quality photos every time. If you are thinking of upgrading your equipment, I will also share my recommendations depending on your goals.
class two / May 6 / composition /
this week we’ll move our focus from the camera itself to the subject(s) you are photographing. What angles to shoot at, where to place your subject, and how to make any photograph look professional.
class three / may 13 / lighting (includes optional golden hour practice shoot at 6:30pm)
nothing adds magic to photos more than natural light. I will teach you where to place your subject in relation to their surroundings for the best, most flattering natural light possible any time of day. No equipment needed!
for those who would like to practice backlighting (that soft sun drenched look you find in most portrait sessions), we will have a one time golden hour practice session starting at 6:30pm that same evening.
class four / may 20 / editing
my most requested subject! Whether your goal is beautifully enhanced image coloration, or you just want to give yourself a little ‘boost’ I’ve got you covered. I’ll walk you through the different editing software options, and how to achieve the settings you need for beautiful, consistent images.
